Watch out for a plethora of fake Amazon jobs from home that have been inundated the employment boards. There is no secret that, in general, the Amazon scams have been perpetrating the most, but this type of fraud (job scams, that is) has been making millions of victims worldwide.

Why are the “Amazon-work-from-home scams” proliferating so much? Let’s take a look.

Since Amazon became the world’s largest internet company by revenue, its number reached an impressive number: 1,000,000 as of July 2020! That is more than 90% from last year. There is no surprise that the company now has its own recruitment department who works daily with thousands of prospective staff members.

However, overnight success and the wide-range of job opportunities created a perfect scenario for scammers to hit again. The latest con, as mentioned, is the Amazon-jobs-from-home approach. How does it work?

Similar to the Craft Assembly or the Marketing Kit scams, the Amazon Jobs From Home trick leads you to believe that a dream job with the company is available starting next month. The scammers promise a very tempting income, such as a salary of $20/hour with the possibility of making $6,000/month.

In order to get the job, you are encouraged indeed to apply. Once the “Amazon job application is processed” you are informed that you’ve got the position and congratulated. However, to start the job, you need to purchase an enrollment kit worth $200.

Many victims fall for this trick once the criminal get their trust. Don’t be one of them.

Amazon Work From Home Scams: How To Avoid

As a rule of thumb, do not send any money for any wonder money-making opportunities online, especially for the Amazon work from home scams. You should not be paying a job that is supposed to pay you. Look very careful at the email address they provide; is it something coming from Amazon (look at the domain name – or are there any numbers or any other extra letters within it (e.g. –

If you want to make money online, always rely on the most reputable sources. Do your research and work only for legitimate employers. Type their names in the search engine and add the word ‘scam’ after. You would be surprised at what happens.
